New welcome

So, here it is...A refreshed blog. Yeah sure, nothing new is in it, but that's because I changed things around - some things were added, whereas others were removed and it's back to the basics. So anything goes and i'll be doing my upmost to make it something worthwhile to read and nothing generic.

You ask why does my name have kidney in it. If you've watched the 100th episode of Friends, which I am not really a fan of now, you'd know that Joey had kidney stones. And one of my college buddies, Dalek Dave loves to scream out kidney stones randomly and in our chemistry lessons, we'd remind each other of it...and the rest as we all say, is history. No, you're quite right, it isn't funny, but i'd thought i'd share it with you..saves you the embarassment from asking me later!

Take I - Tom Meighan (Kasabian) vs. Jonas Armstrong

Was having a normal (yes people, normal) conversation with my best friend and a random thought came to my head (no change there!)...

Doesn't the guy who plays Robin Hood on BBC 1 (Jonas Armstrong) remind you more or less of Tom Meighan (lead singer off Kasabian)?

Thanks to Christine on this one! According to her, the drummer of the killers, Ronnie Vannucci Jr., looks like Krist Novoselic off Nirvana. Christine, I can see it, though i'm saying this to someone who has almost perfect 20:20 vision.

Take IV - Sid (Skins) vs. Stephen Merchant (Extras)

OK, so I was watching skins last week, and whilst noticing the character Sid, I was wondering to myself, "hmm, he looks like someone but who?", and at first I thought it was Rupert Grint (of Harry Potter fame), but I realised that I was kidding myself. Then it came to me whilst watching Comedy Connections last Friday (16/02) and it was someone off the Office and Extras..yes!

Take V - Amy Winehouse vs. Russell Brand

As my close friends know, I am a fan of Never Mind The Buzzcocks and love it with a passion. OK, so in one of the episodes, where Amy Winehouse was one of the guests, she asked the question that we've all wanted to know the answer to. Yes, I know what you're thinking, but no, she didn't ask that. She asked Simon Amstell "Do I look like Russell Brand?" and he replied "yes". Do you agree?
