New welcome
You ask why does my name have kidney in it. If you've watched the 100th episode of Friends, which I am not really a fan of now, you'd know that Joey had kidney stones. And one of my college buddies, Dalek Dave loves to scream out kidney stones randomly and in our chemistry lessons, we'd remind each other of it...and the rest as we all say, is history. No, you're quite right, it isn't funny, but i'd thought i'd share it with you..saves you the embarassment from asking me later!

Double Take (I - VII)
Take I - Tom Meighan (Kasabian) vs. Jonas Armstrong
Was having a normal (yes people, normal) conversation with my best friend and a random thought came to my head (no change there!)...
Doesn't the guy who plays Robin Hood on BBC 1 (Jonas Armstrong) remind you more or less of Tom Meighan (lead singer off Kasabian)?
5 voted yes, 2 voted no and 2 didn't know.

Take II - Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (The Killers) vs. Krist Novoselic (Nirvana)
Thanks to Christine on this one! According to her, the drummer of the killers, Ronnie Vannucci Jr., looks like Krist Novoselic off Nirvana. Christine, I can see it, though i'm saying this to someone who has almost perfect 20:20 vision.
1 voted yes, 2 voted no and 0 didn't know.

Take III - Tim Curry vs. Jeremy Beadle
Acknowledgements go to KT for first bringing this up and Happy Tree for agreeing with me.
2 voted yes, 0 voted no and 0 didn't know.
___________________________________________________________
Take IV - Sid (Skins) vs. Stephen Merchant (Extras)
OK, so I was watching skins last week, and whilst noticing the character Sid, I was wondering to myself, "hmm, he looks like someone but who?", and at first I thought it was Rupert Grint (of Harry Potter fame), but I realised that I was kidding myself. Then it came to me whilst watching Comedy Connections last Friday (16/02) and it was someone off the Office and Extras..yes!
3 voted yes, 0 voted no and 1 didn't know.
___________________________________________________________
Take V - Amy Winehouse vs. Russell Brand
As my close friends know, I am a fan of Never Mind The Buzzcocks and love it with a passion. OK, so in one of the episodes, where Amy Winehouse was one of the guests, she asked the question that we've all wanted to know the answer to. Yes, I know what you're thinking, but no, she didn't ask that. She asked Simon Amstell "Do I look like Russell Brand?" and he replied "yes". Do you agree?
4 voted yes, 0 voted no and 0 didn't know.
___________________________________________________________
Take VI - Happy Tree vs. Claire Sweeney
After constant nagging, KT got her wish of me putting this one down and suggesting that the two "Sweens", our own happy tree and Claire Sweeney are lookalikes.
3 voted yes, 0 voted no and 1 didn't know.

Take VII - John Barrowman vs. Tom Cruise
Now Tom Cruise fans, please do not get offended. Just because I am comparing him with a gay man, doesn't mean that i'm implying that he's gay!
No-one voted!

End of an era for me
I'm gonna stray out of topic for a little bit. I guess I chose my college because I used to go to the place where it was alot when I was a little kid and I used to love it, so I guess it influenced my decision, in addition to that fact that I hated my high school and went further away from those who hated me. During my 2 years in college, I realised how bad the place is...well it's not one that you have to avoid. On a random note, the pigeons there are well fat! No, really, I ain't joking. They tried to rob me of my sandwich when I was first there - please don't laugh! All right, you can! And the old people give you weird looks if you are just walking by the town centre. Hmm, I think that's all I can say, so i'll finish my little intermission here!
Enter A2 and it was a whole different kettle of fish. I found that half of the people I knew had left or got kicked out and I got to know a few people a little more who I seldomly knew whilst I was at AS and ultimately they were my close friends and they tolerated my weirdness and I was happy and to this day I still am. And to leave the college knowing that these like-minded people were people I could associate with and relate to is probably the most hardest thing i'll have to do (Even if our college is sh*t). I never felt this at high school cos I hated most of the people there (even the person who was "my best friend"). However I got to say that i'm paranoid that you might forget about me, hehe. And special mentions goes to the happy happy tree, dalek dave, Jo, Kadeshia, Vinnie and A-lan. You're truly the best friends i've ever had and i'll never forget you.
OK, i'm gonna stop there. The Emo sensor shot high above the ranks.

The Krispy Kreme binge...never again!
M: Hmmm, I'd so love Krispy Kremes now
C: Shall we go to Krispy Kremes *we stare at each other and then we all rush out of the learning centre*
D: *to L* Bye!
L: *surprised* Where are you going?
D: Krispy Kremes
L: *still shocked* Ooookkkk!
We ran out and then went into C's car. C, me and M were on our way to the Krispy Kreme store in Tesco. And when we arrived, I showed them the red light..and you know what...the red light was on!!! You know what that means - a free hot doughnut! Now, most of my friends, know of my big obsession with Krispy Kremes, but believe it or not, M and C were more excited than I was - they were even running to the display, where the doughnuts were being made!
C: Which one's will we get?
M: *Points to list of prices* 24 piece! 24 piece!
Whilst I was picking my doughnuts, all I could hear was M and C saying "hurry up"! So I just picked out my favourites and in 5 minutes we were out of there, ahh, but not before I made an idiot out of myself by picking up a Krispy Kreme hat.
----THE AFTERMATH----
I guess when we were ordering at the time that we were ignorant of really how much we ordered and to order 24 doughnuts to share between the three of us and in addition get 3 free doughnuts because the red light was on, was probably the most insane decisions we have ever made. Nonetheless, it seemed like we were competing each other to eat the most. M had 1 doughnut plus 1 free doughnut, I had 5 doughnuts plus 1 free doughnut, but the winner was C with 6 doughnuts plus 1 free doughnut. However, seeing as it has a bad effect on us, it had a worse effect on C, mainly in the form of random laughter at nothing. Can I just say that you should never order too many Krispy Kreme doughnuts - I swear, without trying to sound melodramatic, it could turn you diabetic!!!
So that's the Krispy Kreme binge anecdote. If you have managed to get this far, congratulations!

I'm legal yet old
When you turn.... You're legally allowed to.....
16 have sex, play the lottery;
17 drive;
18 be legal in the UK and some US states, drink alcohol (UK, not US);
19 be legally allowed to be a teen for the last time;
20 be legally allowed to be in your twenties for the first time;
21 be legal globally.
Now how's that!? Oh and before I forget, I share the same birthday with Elton John, Arethra Franklin and Marcia Cross (Bree from Desperate Housewives). This is a pointless blog isn't it? Oh well, I felt like it!

New post..
Moving on, so I watched the finale of Skins last night and well, I gotta say that i'm damn upset that there's no more new episodes for another year. Still, a lot happened and well Channel 4 liked the viewing figures that its getting another series. Now I wished that they did that for Hollyoaks: In the city, but to be fair, we knew it was going to be doomed from the start if it wasn't for that Hollyoaks name. Me and my best friend loved that, especially since we compared ourselves to Debbie and Josh, right Gem? Back to Skins, well, Tony got run over and I wasn't at least shocked since I read the spoilers (well I was curious) and Effy spoke too even if it was her repeating the word "Wanker", although the best bit was the Sid and Cassie thing, although I read a lot of peoples opinions that it wasn't what they wanted because that's not how it's meant to be in real life. Still, even though I said I was interested in Anwar's and Maxxie's story, I was disappointed how they were delivered. I just didn't buy it. My opinion though.
Anyway, before I finish, I decided to quit the Double Take feature until "further notice" (how else could I have said it? *shrugs shoulders*) since no1 was really voting, even if it was just 3 people.
Oh and one more thing. My 18th is on Sunday! Guess what i'm doing? FUCK ALL, WHICH SUCKS!

Today...
It was cool though...socially! I got to see my best friend, and her mate, who I also got on well with and what amazed me is that I had 3 glasses of vodka mixed with cola and I was normal, yet others were already wasted! I mean what was that about? My other friend was supposed to come but instead his brother came, who btw is more or less a carbon copy of him and I also spoke to another guy, who I couldn't recognise. I mean I was talking to him as if I had just met him until I found out his name, when everything came back to me. After that, we got on very well.
There was also a guy who i've known for a long time. I was avoiding him for personal reasons, but during the party he kept calling me over (by doing that "come here" thing with his finger) repeatedly and kept asking me "Do you want a drink?"
Anyways that party got my mind off my disastrous results (well the D's and the E's bit of it) and my personal issues, which have now come back at the start of the new week. It really sucks. It's review week and I haven't told my family that (i'll try to but they might suss out what I was trying to hide - my results!). However...
Dad: How was your A levels?
Me: *hesitated* Erm..you know what, the exam officer is sick and told us the wrong dates, so now it's this Thursday!
Dad: Oh ok
Later on, whilst me and my sis were going to church (argh!)
Sis: You got bad results didn't you?
Me: Nope, like I said the exams officer was ill
Sis: *trying to make me give in* Surely you lied to Dad if it was that bad enough
I was getting a bit nervous and I thought what the hell, i'll give in, but a few microseconds later...
Me: You don't trust me nowadays. You know I only lie through humour
Sis: OK, if you say so.
Yeah ok, i'm an idiot, but things at home aren't going great for me. My mum and my sister are both alike in character that it's worse to have both of them at your face...the nagging, etc. Believe me, it's more than a motherly thing, it's also a Filipino thing!!! It's like argh, leave me alone! I'm starting to get aggravated and depressed about it and I want to tell them that I want to move out for Uni, but they won't take that well. Still, I have this blog and my friends and that party made me feel a lot better.

Results do spell out some things.
A2 Maths Core 3 A
A2 Physics Forces Fields, Energy D
A2 Chemistry Trends and Patterns E
AS Chemistry Chains and Rings D (Again!!!)
So you can see that from those grades, it's spells out DA DED (as if someone was texting that to you)...last Aug i got CBBC and last March (co-inciding with the unfortunate death of my pet rabbits) I got BAD.
You know what these results mean...I'm am so going to my friend's party tomorrow, even if means seeing that long-term friend of mine who is "more annoying than Daniel"...at least my best friend will be there. EDIT: The party is now school disco themed and this was supposed to be a hardcore dance party. Oh dear, I think Happy Trees party is going to be more interesting than tomorrows!
Let's see what August's results spell out..ooh! Damn, that means less internet for me..

Since when did trees have a sexuality
So there were 3 girls in my class, L, C and K. They are sitting at the row nearer to the window, and whilst my maths teacher is out of the room, we're doing the work when I hear:
C: L, is that tree falling down?
L: No, it's just bent?
C: I swear it looks like it's falling down!
L: Which tree are you talking about?
C: That one! (The rest of us look at the 3 girls, then the tree and then get back to work)
L: No, that's bent
K: It must be a gay tree (L and C are bursting out with laughter)
L: (Laughing) You seriously, make me laugh.
K: (Laughing a little bit) Sorry I had to get that out (Like she always does)
At that point, in pin-drop silence, all you could hear was L and C laughing.
[5 minutes later]
(Guess what, L and C are still laughing)
K: Gosh, it wasn't that funny. I won't speak next time. (I was so tempted to say, "thank's that would be great", but it was too cruel and instead, just stared at them)
(L and C stop laughing and try to get back to work but then laugh again. C burys head in her hands to contain herself)
Wow, I never thought thinking about gay trees made 2 girls laugh so much for about 5 minutes. K seems to make the girls laugh and when I have something random to say in the same level as K, they just look at me bewildered, and K starts to wind me up and I retalliate, a la "never mind the buzzcocks" style. It's sexism I tell you. I wonder if they'll laugh tomorrow when i shout out "gay trees"..nope, won't work.

Yesterday...
So after that, all I could think about was that moment and you know those quick flashbacks, yeah, them too! I mean most people would probably say big deal, but for me it was scary shit. My mum's constant reminder of "looking left and right before crossing the road" is probably paying off, but that's what I did. Anyways, i'm moving on. A blend of maths and chemistry (oh crap, the presentation for chem!), finishing late at 5pm and watching Never Mind The Buzzcocks tonight will do for me today.

Isn't it just awkward
Now, I don't think about this person but when I see or hear them, you re-live the moment where they lashed out at you or visually recall the emails saying that they "couldn't deal with me" or threatened me that "if I turned my friends against me, believe me, you'll regret it", which I wasn't going to do, after all, a private issue is private and nothing more. It hurts thinking about these horrible things but then again it teaches me not to make the same mistakes. I've moved on and so has this person. Why should I care?
This was one of the problems I had with people last year and this year, i'm making sure that this never happens...The people I hang around with in this college are the greatest, without trying to sound melodramatic. I've never been happier and if a repeat of that incident happens, then i'm at a low point. No joke! I feel so emo.
On a plus note, i'm getting the new Kaiser Chiefs album today. I've heard average reviews today. Oh dear :(

It always has to do with money!
Secondly, I was in HMV buying an album and the queue to the tills was longer than usual. There were two guys who apparently were using a credit card that wasn't under their name and when one of them started shouting, the powerful moment of everyone in the store stopping what they were doing and staring at the guys arguing occured. Great, isn't it? The guy randomly cut in to us saying "Sorry you have to hear this guys"..well shock horror! Some civilisation at last. I was expecting a "What are you looking at?" thing. Had wait a little longer before I was served and the lady at the till said "Sorry for the long wait"..why apologise, we got our entertainment!
Damn and speaking of cash, I had some spare money to buy my Airliner World magazine. What a nerd I am, or am I not? Nah, I love my planes. The spare money will probably go to buying krispy kremes for me..failing that, krispy kremes for KT and happy tree if I feel bad about buying donuts...yeah..erm...that rarely happens!

Demon Days
College is so boring and to be honest, I can't be asked anymore. A2 is a bummer, really it is...it's like one of those "yeah i understood that...few months later" and then "argh there's more!" Just now in Maths, all we did was our homework and our teacher kept dipping in and dipping out of the classroom. It's just really wasting our time and all we do when he walks out is just talk to each other about random things as we just find the work difficult, lol.
Now I have Chemistry next and that's getting boring. Apparently theres more to alcohol than we thought. Snore snore. We spent like a lesson about neutralising Vinegar with Sodium Hydroxide. And everyone is just not bothering to turn up to lessons, which seems to be the trend recently at college.
Enough about the ranting, I have good things to praise. First is that i'm starting to catch up with Skins (still about 2 weeks behind) and i'm apparently underaged to watch it, as I mentioned yesterday, but I can watch it, i'm gonna be 18 next month. I want to know Sid's story and Maxxie's too oh and Anwar's (I heard the actor playing him is from Harrow, ooh). I'm still not adjusted to the idea that the guy who plays Tony used to be that chubby guy who sang that rap in About a Boy.
Also, i've been listening to the Klaxons new album, Myths of the near future when I figured out that they were New Rave, I was thinking "what's that?". How ignorant of me! Don't get me wrong, I knew who they were, I mean Golden Skans is what made me get the album. Despite my ignorance, I have to admit that it's a good album (EDIT: Vinit seems to disagree, but that's one against two, so screw you! Haha) and there might be some weird songs in there, as well as the last track which is 19 minutes long. Yep, that long. For the first 3 minutes, theres music then the next 10-12 minutes there's absolute silence and then in the last few minutes, some more music cuts straight in. Next up: Yours Truly, Angry Mob by the Kaiser Chiefs!

Tuesday
So here I am now, during my lunch break, using computers next to Dalek Dave and some people in my class and i'm watching previews of Skins...heard it's good and it was, but apparently i'm under age to watch it. I'm also watching clips of Hollyoaks and its not normally a show I watch with a passion, but there, but who cares's this storyline with John Paul and Craig - i'm finding it interesting and I don't know why. I really want to see how it works out.
Right i'm off to Physics in 15 minutes and tomorrow is my demon day!!! Arghhhh

Snow (Hey Oh)
I made a small snowman on top of our family car..only for it to slowly melt throughout the day! Grrrrrr! Our conservatory feels like an igloo with the snow layer on top, although it is now starting to melt and some of the water (having previously been snow) is seeping into the conservatory! I miss the old days when we would let the rabbits out of their hutch to see if they would actually get out and guess what, they did! However, 5 minutes later, they went back to their hutch...it was funny!
What else happened today..Nothing much really. Just listened to the radio. Funnily enough, whilst listening to Richard Bacon, he read a blog off someone who was doing work experience with the radio station and the blogger slagged them off. The people who the blogger slagged off hit back and it was hilarious!
Snow!!
Anyways I don't know if my college is open or not! And I live further than my other friends, so i'm just gonna stay at home. It looks nice out there but I think i'd get pissed off because its bad on the roads (and dangerous too!)...well the local ones anyway. Well at least I have an excuse for not going in college. And even if college was open, I couldn't get there anyway because I only have one lesson and what's the point if I arrive there when my only lesson finishes? If it was open that would be unfair as my best friend (whose on her final year in high school) got the day off!

Bored (part II) and personal rant
OK now for my rant. Basically, college was supposed to be a good thing but recently, everything's got boring lately. In our college, there's nothing to do and nobody really socialises and it just gets very boring and i'll be honest, the AS lot this year aren't really ones I can get along with (I only really speak to 2 people off AS). And when I enrolled for A2, I found that I had difficulty finding people to hang around with. Last year, I was part of many groups and just went to them and spoke to them. This year, since half of our year left or got kicked out, I find it hard to find people who I can hang round with and it was hard in September when I wasn't getting on with a few people. Now i'm more happier because I know where i'm aiming for. My real friends in this college are at the Vikki and KT (EDIT: and Joanna, who got offended when she didn't see her name. Yes Joanna, you really are my real friend!) end, and some guys from my Physics, Chemistry and/or Maths class(es) (3 people really) and I figured that out in December.
I was getting miserable (and depressed too) because I was trying too hard and was going for everyone, and to most of them, they really wanted me to get lost. Now that my exams are over, I know who exactly my real friends are and now I can forget about the rest. If they (the others) can't tolerate me, then to hell with them. In all honesty, college is basically high school all over again. Same problems, same issues, but in disguised in the form of A levels. I can't wait till I get out of Uni, that is if my mum and sister will let me move out!
Rant over. God I feel so emo!
Bored...
Oh it's just got to me why half of the people aren't in today. Today is National sicky day, where today is the day where everyone phones in sick! Aren't people smart? Now why didn't I do that. Why did I get my lazy ass out of bed and left home to go on a 90 minute journey to college when I could have just called in sick!
Back to work!

Jetlag should have gone
Monday eve (29/01), in Living Room. My Dad is getting ready for work and he's about to go when suddenly.
Dad: I'm going now...Oh where's my name badge.
Me: I don't know
My Sister: Dad, look! *points to the blazer he's wearing* It's on your blazer
*Dad looks in astonishment*
Dad: Oh yes so it is! *All of us start laughing*
Tuesday morning (30/01). I have just woken up at 6:40am and just realised that I woke up late and only had 20 minutes to get ready. My Mum is already awake and i'm rushing.
Mum: Why are you up so early?
Me: I'm not early. I woke up late! I have to leave for college in 20 minutes!
Mum: You don't have college today. Today is Saturday, isn't it?
Me: Erm, no it's not. It's Tuesday!
Mum: Tuesday today?
Me: Yes
Mum: *astonished* Ohhh... *walks back to her bedroom and goes back to sleep*
If this isn't jetlag, then what is it? Hehe

The day of Tom & Jerry
*I get out of my seat and shut the window*
M: Do you want to switch seats with me?
Me: *in a sarcastic manner* Yes that would be great!
And so we do and he puts his jumper on considering the fact that he was the one who opened the window. And a few minutes a later, a girl asks me something about the maths work.
Me: Yeah I got that too! *continues writing down answer on paper*
M: How can you have the right answer when you haven't written it down
Me: Erm, look i've just finished writing it. This is what you do, you don't let me finish and you speak in between *C, M and G are laughing* I mean i'm not complaning.
C: *laughs a little* You're not complaining?
Me: I wasn't complaining. *short pause* Ok that's a half lie, but still! I was just saying what he was doing. *We all laugh it off*
A few minutes later....
*G laughs to himself*
G: You two are like Tom and Jerry
M: What?
G: Like Tom and Jerry
M: Tom and Jerry - the cartoon! *C Laughs*
Me: Yeah I know the cartoon, why do you say that?
G: I don't know it's just you're too friendly
Me: Is that a bad thing?
*G realises what he's just said and gets back to work*
So that's it...story ain't glamorous. I'm new at this kinda stuff. Yes it's childish but it got someone to say something unusual like that!
